QMstat
is primarily a statistical calculator with a data editor
and a worksheet. I wrote the first version in 1992 and used it in my teaching for many years. Sadly no more :-( .
It enables data sets to be entered, edited and processed. Calculations include simple summary statistics, probabilty distributions, hypothesis testing, Chi-squared and ANOVA.

Wiseprogs
contains many of the programs I (and others) wrote for the BBC micro and used in my teaching at various times. Some of them might even still run on the Beeb as I have only made a few cosmetic changes over the years. Even so, they still do the job I intended. The individual programs inside Wiseprogs can be extracted and run separately. Wiseprogs merely provides a front end menu. I have some documentation buried away somewhere and will put it up if I find it. The programs are mostly self explanatory anyway. Well to me at least :-).
The common theme of all the programs is the visualization of the various topics not just calculations.
Topics include
- Solving f(x)=0 - successive bisection, Newton Raphson etc
- Solution of simultaneous equations - Gauss elimination, Jacobi
- Functions and their graphs
- Solution of ODEs
- Quadratic splines
- Power method for eigenvalues
- Statistics - mean, median, mode and histograms (bit old this one)
- Digital Communications - Modulation, sampling, phasors, Fourier series
